Helpful Instructors
Ian, the other gas instructor, was also very helpful, and like all the instructors at Able Skills, could be “borrowed” for a short time if anyone had a question and Roy was with another student. I had decided part-way through my plumbing and gas course to go all-out with the technical trades, and take the electrical courses training also. Angela, the centre manager, went through the options with me, explaining what would be required to reach the level of competency necessary to be eligible for the Solar PV installer course; it turned out to be pretty much every course since Solar PV is technically quite challenging due to the high voltages inherent in PV systems.
