Most Common Injury that Occurs At Work

Accidents at workplace are nothing new. In fact, they have become so common that they don’t grab so much attention anymore. Considering the amount of time a worker spends at a workplace, injury at work seems like a commonplace event.

The most common type of injury that a person suffers at work is upper body injuries. These injuries generally happen to workers who have a job that involves repeating the same task everyday. Workers in the electronics, food processing, office data entry or auto assembly are likely to get these injuries as they all do the same type of work everyday.

Carpal tunnel syndrome is one of the common forms of upper body injury. Median nerve trapped between swollen and inflamed tendons are the cause of this injury.
